THE FIXATED MIND
Today, in our culture, everyone has an opinion. Not everyone agrees with everyones opinion. Opinions can change, but not very often. Teachers in California are protesting for higher pay. They are fixated on staying outside, in the rain, until they get what they want and nothing will change their mind. As Christians we are so stuck in doubt, fear, and all the things this world has going on, that we just forget about the important things we need to be fighting for. God fought for you. He died, but he didn’t loose for the very fact that you are alive and breathing. Get fixated on what’s up above. Grace, mercy, salvation, eternity. Get fixated on serving and telling others around you about this awesome God you serve! Don’t set your opinion on one thing, because there is so much more you could be focused on. You need to be fixated on getting more out of your day than worrying about your problems at home or at work or school. Look ahead because your past is not eternity!
