MINE-ISTRY Think back to when you were a little boy or little girl. Your parents and your teachers are constantly saying “sharing is caring”. You didn’t always want to share. Especially if it were food to be shared.. just me? Ha just kidding. But seriously, how many times have you heard that saying? It’s usually said a lot to little kids. Well, God tells us in the Bible that we are to train up a child. We are his children. And we are all here for many different purposes. The main one being to serve God and his people. No matter what your ministry is, wether it be picking up trash around the church after Sunday service, teaching bible study’s, or singing in the choir, you are doing it to serve God. Sometimes when we get caught up in how much our neighbor is doing for God, we get jealous and think about how much we’re doing. This may not be you but do you get jealous when they haven’t scheduled you to sing in a couple weeks on the praise team? Does it make you angry when someone else, who in your opinion shouldn’t be able to, is asked to speak when you’ve been asking for a while? If it is you, then you should know this. It shouldn’t matter what you do or when you do it. It should matter to you why though. Here’s my tbh for you. Tbh is doesn’t matter what you do to serve, because it’s all for the same cause. TO SERVE GOD! If you’re not able to serve at church serve at home. Serve in your community! Confession time, I get jealous when my friends at church are asked to do somethings over me sometimes! It’s normal to feel that way. But that should only inspire you to do more. God will use you when you’re ready and in his timing. Pray. Fast. Trust. It’s all in his plan.
